Claude Thomas Warner Jr.

Claude Thomas Warner, Jr., 77, of Walkersville, MD, passed suddenly on July 20, 2026. Born in Unionbridge, MD, on July 23, 1948 to the late Claude Thomas Warner, Sr. and Martha Jane Smith Warner. He was the beloved husband of many years to the late Debra “Debbie” Ann Warner.

Claude was a proud member of the United States Marine Corp. He joined in September of 1967 and was deployed in Vietnam. He was awarded several medals, including the Purple Heart medal. He was also an active member of the Woodsboro American Legion.

Claude spent most of his working career with Alcoa Eastalco Works. Working for over 20 years until the closure of the plant. He would later work in custodial services for the Frederick County Public School system. After his retirement, Claude would spend most of his time caring for his wife Debbie.

In his spare time, Claude enjoyed fishing and hunting. Often taking trips to the family cabin in White’s Ferry.

Claude is survived by, his daughter Stacey Warner, close neighbors Lee and Ellen, good friend Robert Doody, 4 siblings and numerous nieces and nephews. He leaves behind his yorkies Parker and Sassy. In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by, his son Gregory Thomas Warner, and 5 siblings.

Family and friends can gather at the Chapel Lutheran Church, 11109 Daysville Road, Frederick, MD 21701 on Thursday July 30, 2026 from 12p until the start of the memorial service at 2pm. Inurnment will immediately follow in the church cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Claude’s name to the church.
