Daniel Edward Boyce

Daniel Edward Boyce, 54, passed suddenly on June 17, 2025.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret, a sister, Kathi (Michael) McConnell, and 2 nieces: Sara (Joseph) Doherty and Lillian, 1 grandnephew, and his kitty, Pixie. Daniel was born at Ira Davenport, in Bath, NY and graduated from Hammondsport Central School, Class of 1988.

Daniel earned a Master’s degree in Physics from SUNY Binghampton. He taught Physics and Math courses in a high school in Indiana and later at Alfred State College, NY. In his spare time, he volunteered at the Red Cross, participated in online math forums, and enjoyed a good quest in Dungeons and Dragons.

Services and burial will be graveside, July 10, 2025, at 11am, in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Hammondsport, New York. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart Association (online) or to the Fingerlakes SPCA, 72 Cameron St, Bath, New York.
