Ms. Dorothy Jean "Dottie" Lenhart, 90 of Frederick, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2026.
She was born on May 5, 1936 in Buckeystown, she was the daughter of the late Roger and Edna Lenhart.
Dottie is survived by her daughters; Karyl Curtin (Thomas, deceased) and Lori Winn (Brad), grandchildren; Lindsay Scalf (Stephen) and Joshua Winn (Ally), great-grandchildren; Wyatt, Sadie and Scottie, brother; William "Sam" Lenhart (Joan), and two nieces.
She was a devoted Christian, loving mother and had a deep love for family. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren were such a joy to her. Family was her World!
Dottie was always eager to volunteer for various organizations including Frederick Memorial Hospital and Hospice of Frederick County. Dottie served as National President of the AmVets Auxiliary.
The family would like to thank the Record Street staff for many years of kindness and loving care.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am, on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 11am. Inurnment will be private.
