Dorothy Agnes Little

Loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother, Dorothy Agnes Little, 93, of Frederick, MD, peacefully passed away at home under hospice care on Thursday, August 13, 2026. She courageously fought through bypass surgery, basal cell cancer, and a long battle with COPD.

Born on March 31, 1933, in Frederick, MD, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Agnes Lambert Rippeon.

She was a member of Harmony Community Lutheran Church. She loved birds, bingo, scratch-offs, crocheting, cooking, and baking. Chocolate was her favorite go-to, whether it was candy, ice cream, or cake.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard A. Little, Jr. and her siblings: Thomas Rippeon, Oscar R. “Buck” Rippeon, Betty Gaile, and Yvonne (Pat) Rippeon.

Mourning her death are her loving children: Jeffrey A. Little, and Bernard W. Little and wife Pamela. She is also survived by two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sibling, Jenny Zittle and husband, Doug; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Services and interment will be privately held at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick, Maryland.
