January 28, 1957 - July 21, 2026
Buster passed suddenly at home. He was the loving husband of Karen Blanche (Tracey) Amoss for 45 years, together for 51 years.
He retired in 2019 after 41 years of employment with Leidos Biomedical (Fort Detrick), enjoyed trips to Charlestown to gamble and doing many projects outside. He was an avid reader and in his younger years was a talented pool player.
Besides his wife, Buster is survived by three sisters, Ruth Njong of Silver Spring, Carol Knott of Charlestown and Valerie O’Roke of Martinsburg as well as son in law John W. Wagner and grandchildren William “Frankie” Wagner and Michelle “Belle” Wagner. He is also survived by 4 nieces.
Buster was predeceased by his only child and pride and joy, Christopher Allen Amoss in 2024, and well as his parents Earl Raymond Amoss, Sr., Shirley Evonne (Mercer) Springer and brother in law David L. Tracey in 2025.
His final wish was to be cremated. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
