On October 3, 2025, Ellen Patricia Polignano (nee Meehan) passed at her home in Adamstown, MD.
Devoted wife and mother. Registered nurse, beloved mother, friend to many. Born in Philadelphia, PA, served as a registered nurse at NIH for over 40 years working with psychiatric and Alzheimers patients. Served on multiple medical mission trips with Somos Amigos. Preceded in death by brother Daniel Meehan, and parents Elizabeth and Daniel Meehan. Leaves behind two sons, Gianpaolo and Michael as well as a sister Christine Maginnis and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services to be held at St Joseph on Carrollton Manor, 5843 Manor Woods Road, Frederick, MD, on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at 6:30 PM.
