Ms. Farideh Rahimy, 78, of Frederick, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 13, 2026.
Born on May 5, 1947, in Tabriz, Iran, she was the beloved daughter of the late Eskandar Rahimy and Aghazade Fazli Ahmadian.
Farideh is survived by her three children, Farid Shoai; Farnaz Shoai (Jeremy Jones); and Faraz Shoai; her grandson, Alexander Jones; her siblings, Zahedeh Rahimy, Fatali Rahimy, Hanieh Rahimy, Shirin Rahimy, Farhad Rahimy, and Mohammad Ali Rahimy; as well as numerous cherished nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Lotfali Rahimy.
A graveside service will be held at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, February 22, 2026, at Parklawn Memorial Park and Menorah Gardens, 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD. A reception will follow the service at the Hilton Washington DC/Rockville Hotel & Executive Meeting Ctr, 1750 Rockville Pike, Rockville, MD.
