Gerald Wayne "Jerry" Koogle, Sr.

Mr. Gerald W. "Jerry" Koogle Sr., 78, of Hagerstown, passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at his residence.

Born September 25, 1946 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Paul Koogle Sr. and Ruth King Bowers.

Jerry was a retired police officer with Frederick City and Jefferson County, WV.  Jerry was an avid fisherman, hunter and going to flee markets.

Jerry is survived by his children; Melissa Kozak (John), Lori Rickard (David Reed) and Gerald Koogle Jr., granddaughters; Emilee Boone (Kevin) and Alyssa Kaiser, sisters; Vicki Leatherman (Tony) and Kimberly Loy (Robert), brothers; Keith Zembower and Robert Koogle (Susan), numerous nieces and nephews.  He will be missed by his his girlfriend; Dorothy Ganiear.

Inurnment will be at a later date at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
