On March 22, 2024, Helen V. Maiwald, age 96, went to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born in Queens, NY on September 1, 1927, and was the daughter of Dominic and Hermine Venosa.
Helen was a devout Christian who believed in the promise of the resurrection and was an active member of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Frederick, MD, for 23 years.
She is survived by her son Eric Maiwald (Kay), two grandsons and five great grandchildren.
