Henry Harrison Rowe Jr.

Henry Harrison Rowe, Jr., 85, of Spring Hill, FL, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025 at this home. Born on June 19, 1940 in Staunton, VA to the late Henry Harrison Rowe, Sr., and Ollie Lillian Shiflett Rowe. He was the beloved husband of 56 years to Betty Marie Rowe.

Henry was a sheet metal mechanic and worked in his trade for over 50 years He will be deeply missed by his son-in-law Kenny Kolbe, who was not only family but a close friend and partner in their shared business.

Henry enjoyed bowling and was known to have rolled multiple perfect games. He also enjoyed fishing and hunting.

In addition to his wife, Henry is survived by; his children Holly Huff (Mike), Tony Bellassai, Angel Kolbe (Kenny), Lorie Huff (Tim), and Ben Bellassai (Bonnie), his siblings, Mae Hausler, Shirley Cole, Nancy Flohr, Robert “Bobby” Rowe, and his 21 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Henry is predeceased by his children Robin Rowe and Henry Rowe, III, and his siblings, Catherine “Sis” DeRita, Joan Stone, Joseph Rowe, John Rowe, and Betty Jane Rowe.

Family and friends can gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Homes, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701, on Tuesday August 26, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm. A second visitation will take place at the funeral home on Wednesday August 27, 2025 from 10am until the start of the funeral service at 11am. Interment will follow at Clustered Spires Cemetery, Frederick.
