Hilda Ruth Hutchison

Mrs. Hilda Ruth Hutchison, 82, of Middletown, passed away at her home surrounded by family on August 30, 2019. She was the wife of the late Richard Hutchison. She was born in Lovettsville, Virginia on May 7, 1937.  She was the youngest of thirteen children born to the late Harvey Arthur and Ruth Alberta Cole.

She greatly enjoyed life and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her children Joann Ambrose, Kenneth Parks and wife Lisa, and Vicky Parks and significant other Franco, grandchildren Phillip Parks and wife Kerry, Amanda Burdette and husband Jason, Kristin Lohr, Daniel Price, and ten great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by first husband Wilburn E. “Pete” Parks, grandson Jonathan Parks, niece Angie Mayhew, and her twelve brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed by her many friends, especially her friends from her coffee group.

A viewing will be held at 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on September 5, 2019 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, where the funeral will be conducted at 12 pm. Interment will follow at Lovettsville Union Cemetery, 12930 Lutheran Church Rd, Lovettsville, VA.
