Kieffer W. Crummitt Sr.

Kieffer Warren Crummitt, Sr., age 75, died on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at his home in Middletown, MD. He was the son Stanley A. and Hattie Ethelyne Brandenburg Crummitt.

Kieffer graduated from Middletown High School in 1970. After graduation, he went into the US Army Reserves and was a member of 558th Signal Company at Flair Reserve Center. He retired from Frederick County Public Schools in 2014. Kieffer married Deborah Crummitt on December 16, 1972. Kieffer enjoyed farming and driving his John Deere 4020 tractor and his GMC truck and hunting.

Kieffer and Debbie had two children together, a son Kieffer W. Crummitt, Jr., and a daughter Lisa A. Crummitt Ahalt of Thurmont, MD. The joy of his life was his grandchildren, Kieffer W. Crummitt, III, Leann R. Ahalt and Luke R. Ahalt. He is survived by three brothers, William "Bill", Kenneth and David and nieces, nephews, cousins, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law.
