Ms. Linda Lee Green,77, of Frederick, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, on Saturday May 24 after suffering from Cancer.
Linda was born July 3, 1947 in Dickerson MD. She was the daughter of Paul DeWitt Green Sr. and Frances Mae Green.
She grew up in Frederick and in 1965 graduated from Walkersville High School. She worked as a hairstylist. Then worked in customer service at Routzahns and finished out her customer service career at Ashley Furniture store.
Linda loved her Elvis Presley. She listened, watched and collected his things. Linda enjoyed putting puzzles together. On pretty days she enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the sun. Linda had a few unique nicknames. At home she was known as Aunt LaLa. At work they called her GreenBean or LindaLove.
She is survived by her sister Frances Wimmer (Jimmy) of Mt Airy, brother Paul DeWitt Green (Patty) of Keymar, sister Susan Steckley of Frederick, sister Mary Green (John Cole) of Thurmont , and brother John R Green of Frederick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10am to 11am on Monday, June 2, 2025 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. The funeral service will immediately follow at 11am. Interment will be at Mt. Zion UM Cemetery, Myersville.
