Linda Tull Portwood, 75 loving wife and mother, passed away peacefully at home in Mountaindale, MD on April 17th. She was born in Gettysburg, PA on September 15, 1949 to Howard and Janice Tull.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis, daughter, Melissa (Philip) Garber, granddaughter, Savannah (Kevin) Finnegan, and grandson, Dale Garber, mother Janice Tull. As well as her siblings, Salvatore (Mary) Dellospidale, Stephanie (Tom) Kopczyk, Michael Tull, Joseph (Carol) Tull, Kim (Sal) Medeiros, Sue (Don) Stone, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is also survived by dear neighbors Roy & Peggy Ridge, as well as long time friends, Karen Waters, Betty Peterson, Rose Myers, and many friends she considered family. She also leaves behind her cats Missy, Smokie, and TinyBoy whom she loved and cared for.
Linda was a graduate of Governor Thomas Johnson High School. She worked in the medical field for over 40 years. She was a member of Arsenal of Angels and a lifelong member of the Toll House Cookie Club.
Linda was preceded in death by her father, Howard V. Tull.
There will be a celebration of Linda’s life on Sunday, June 22nd at Amvets Post #2, 702 E. South Street, Frederick, MD 21704 from 1pm to 4pm.
