Madeline Harris Cannon

In memory of Madeline H. Cannon born in Myersville, Maryland on June 24, 1930, and passed away in Frederick, Maryland on August 14, 2025. Madeline is preceded in death by her first husband, Gordon E. Harris, and second husband, Herman Cannon; her parents, John Grayson and Ruth Wiles; her sisters, Grace Utz, Pauline Nicodemus and Audrey Williams. Madeline is survived by her children, Gordon M. Harris (Teri) of New Mexico, Jack W. Harris of Maryland and her sister, Patricia Barrett of West Virginia. Madeline also leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

Madeline worked as seamstress and as a salesperson in various businesses throughout Frederick. Her proudest achievement was as a wife, mother and grandmother.

A Celebration of Life will take place at Brook Hill United Methodist Church in Frederick, Maryland on September 7th from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
