Margaret Lucille Uhl

Margaret “Lucille” Uhl was born at home in Elizabeth, WV on July 9, 1935 to Everett and Alma Buchanan. In 1954 she married Richard Uhl. They were happily married until his death in 2017. She died peacefully of natural causes on October 6, 2023. Two daughters, Rebecca Uhl (Tony Vaccaro), Susan Lhamon; and three grandchildren, Erin, Emily and Kyle Vaccaro are still living. Her brother, Charles Buchanan is still living on the farm. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Vidabelle Buchanan.

Lucille grew up on the farm in WV, then lived many places with her husband. She was known for organizing social groups wherever she lived and her love of cats.

There will be no services per her wish. Any donations should be given to your local animal shelter. That would make her happy.
