Mary Ann Cardinale

Mary Ann Cardinale, 91, of Frederick, MD and formerly of Tampa, FL passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at home with family by her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, John and sister-in-law Marjorie Mirabole. Born in Tampa on June 23, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillie Cagnina Cardinale.

Survivors include her children, Milo A. Cardinale, of Sebring, FL and Cara C. Simmonds and her husband, Cary, of Queenstown, MD; five grandchildren, Quinn, Mary, Sara, Andrew, and Ryan; one brother, Andrew Mirabole, of Baltimore.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Frederick Hospice for their compassionate care during Mary’s final days.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, August 13, 2026, at 11 a.m., at Saint Timothy's Catholic Church, 8651 Biggs Ford Road, Walkersville, MD 21793. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. The mass will be followed by a luncheon in the church hall.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made in her memory to Frederick Health Hospice
