Mr. Melvin Jack Berman, 94, of Jefferson, formerly of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. He was the loving husband of Sharon Berman for 37 years.
Born August 4, 1931 in Washington D.C., he was the son of the late Louis and Eva (Jacobs) Berman.
Melvin was an avid farmer. In his spare time, he loved to antique, golf, take long car rides and have lunch at Subway.
In addition to his wife, Melvin is survived by his children, Michael Berman and wife Cheryl, Mark Berman and Lynn Robinson and husband Fred, step-children, Teresa Siegel and Greg Marshall and wife Jocelyn, grandchildren, Jessica, Sam, Jake, Alyssa, Lily, Emma and Dori.
The family would like to thank his Visiting Angel Caregiver, Pam for her compassionate care.
The family will receive friends from 4pm to 7pm, on Monday, August 25, 2025 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick. Inurnment will be at a later date in Boca Raton, FL.
