Paul Lee Orrison Sr.

Paul Lee Orrison, Sr., of Brunswick, Maryland, passed away on Oct 21, 2025 at the age of 95.
An all-sports fanatic, Paul was involved in everything from basketball to baseball to soccer, and even spent his extra hours working part-time on the railroad as a fireman.
Soon after graduating high school, Paul met the love of his life, June, while ice skating on the Potomac River canal in Brunswick. The two married soon afterward and shared 64 wonderful years together before her passing. June told Paul they’d had a great life together.
Paul proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War, often joking that he chose the Air Force “because they were least likely to be shot at.” Around the same time, he studied at Bliss Electrical School, beginning a lifelong career in electronics.
Following his military service, Paul and Family lived in Machias Maine, Manassas Va, Hollidaysburg Pa before settling in good ole Brunswick Maryland!
It was in Brunswick where he and June raised their three sons. He worked for the Federal Aviation Administration as an electronic technician, maintaining and repairing radar equipment.
Paul gave back to his community as the manager for the Brunswick Little League teams which included managing Brunswick’s first two Maryland state championship teams—both of which included his sons.
In his later years, Paul enjoyed hunting back in Maine, golfing and shooting pool with his sons and remained active in the Maryland pool leagues into his 90’s!
He will be remembered for his humor, love of family, and lifelong passion for sports.
Paul is survived by his three sons, Paul Jr. and Wife Leanne, Britt and his Wife Lydia, and Chris and his Wife Melissa. Paul also has 5 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren and many loving friends and extended family. Unique as it may be, Paul was 92 years older that his youngest Grandson, Chris and Melissa's son Jack.
Paul was preceded in death by his beloved wife, June in 2016.
A celebration of life will be at a later date. Inurnment will be private at Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick Md.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The Brunswick Maryland Little League that Paul was a huge part of.
