The family of Richard (Dick) Roland Culler is saddened to announce his passing on Thursday, August 14, 2025, at the age of 74. He was the son of the late Roland K. and Julia S. Culler. Dick was a graduate of Gov. Thomas Johnson High School class of 1969.
Dick served in the Army National Guard and Reserve from 1969 until his honorable discharge in 1975. He completed basic training at Fort Polk, Louisiana and at Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
Upon his return from basic training, Dick went into dairy farming on his family farm. He worked in welding and was also a skilled mechanic.
Dick enjoyed anything outdoors, especially fishing, NASCAR and going to gun raffles and family gatherings.
His quiet, sweet personality drew everyone he knew to love him, and he was affectionately known as “Uncle Dicky” to many. Dick took life as it came and enjoyed the little things. He was a lifelong member of St. Luke’s Lutheran Church, Feagaville.
He is survived by his siblings and their spouses: Jeanne (Dick) Biser, Joanne Passaglia, David (Susan) Culler, and Jennifer (James) Noffsinger. In addition to his parents, Dick was predeceased by his sister Nancy Kegley and brother-in-laws Dennis Passaglia and John Kegley.
Dick leaves behind his loving nieces and nephews and their spouses/partners: Susan Hackney, Julie Jones, Matthew Culler (Dilia Inoa), Andy (Kat) Culler, Justin (Kylee) Noffsinger, Jacob (Chelsea) Noffsinger, Maegan (Britt) Olson and Joshua Noffsinger (Skylar Andrews), as well as many great nieces and nephews who adored him.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit on Saturday, September 6, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. in St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Feagaville where a celebration of Dick’s life will commence at 11:00 a.m. in St. Luke’s Lutheran Church. Interment immediately following in the adjoining cemetery.
