Col. (Retired) Robert L. Bosser

Died July 2, 2025. Born in Brooklyn, Bob was a lifelong Dodgers fan. He attended PS 140 and PS 102. At 17, he enlisted in the Navy. A graduate of the Naval Academy, Harvard Business School, and Georgetown Law School, he became an Air Force JAG. During his 32-year service, Bob and Gail made their home in 7 states and in Turkey. They retired to New Mexico and became active in the community. He was a long-time volunteer at the Albuquerque Natural History Museum, Albuquerque Zoo, Adobe Theatre, and AARP tax volunteering.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Gail, sister-in-law Kathy Bosser, and parents Audrey Stillwell and Robert Bosser of New Jersey. He is survived by his brother, Charles Bosser, son, Robert (Diane), and daughter, Kimberly (Al), 8 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and cousin, Nancy Yeske. He also leaves behind many dear friends in NM., including the Tracey and Genie Burns family, George Libey, Susan Mills, Lou Dassie, and Chris Hurl.

A private burial service will be held in New Jersey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Albuquerque Zoo or Albuquerque Natural History Museum.
