Mr. Ronald W. "Ronnie" Cole, Sr, 75, of Frederick, passed away surrounded by his family on Thursday, August 27, 2026 at Doey's House, Hagerstown.
Born October 10, 1950 in Frederick, he was the son of the late Harry Cole and Betty Ketterman Cole.
Ronnie was a lifelong carpenter and enjoyed to work with his hands. He was an avid fisherman, Washington Redskins fan and enjoyed the comforting others through his home cooked meals. He will be missed for his sense of humor. Most importantly, Ronnie enjoyed spending time with his kids, grandkids and extended family.
Ronnie is survived by his children; Ronnie Jr. (Jeanette), Mike Cole and Amy Cole, granddaughters; Aubrey Crowell, Kennedy Crowell and Kimber DeLauter, sisters; Carol Ann Eyler (Earl) and Diann Van Fleet (James), numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Carl "Wayne" Cole and his dog, Sissy.
The family will receive friends from 5pm to 8pm, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701. The funeral service will be held at 1:00Pm, on Thursday, September 3, 2026 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial contributions may be made to Doey's House, 11370 Caring Pathway Lane 21742.
