Ronald Roberts

Ronald Michael Roberts, 77 of Jefferson, MD passed away on Sunday August 10, 2025 at the Kline Hospice House in Mount Airy, MD. He was a graduate from Frederick High School Class of 1966. Ronald also had an associates degree in Accounting from Strayer University.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, David Romaine Roberts and Florence Mae Remsburg/Roberts of Frederick. He was the twin brother of Donald David Roberts of Frederick. He is survived by his devoted wife, Laurie Roberts his son David Roberts, and his much loved daughter-in-law, Crystal Roberts and his beloved grand dog Ella Mae.

Over the years, Ronald built a career in both insurance sales and real estate, but his true success was measured not in numbers, but in relationships. Clients became friends, and friends became family. He had a gift for making people feel seen, heard, and cared for.

Family was the center of Ronald’s world. Some of his happiest days were spent outdoors, fishing and hunting with his son David. Sharing quiet mornings, big laughs, and even bigger fish tales. He also found great joys in watching his nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews grow. He had a love for classic cars and enjoyed attending car shows.

Ronald had a warm humor and an easy smile that made even ordinary days feel special. He lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and a quiet strength that touched everyone who knew him. He was greatly loved by family and friends and will be missed dearly.

Family and friends can gather at the Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 East Church Street, Frederick, MD 21701 on Thursday August 14, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm. A second visitation will take place at the funeral home on Friday August 15, 2025 from 11am until the start of the funeral service at 12pm. Interment will take place at Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Frederick.
