Sandra Jean Alterman

Sandra Jean "Sandy" Alterman nee Rohrbaugh, beloved wife, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away at the age of 73, is now with her Lord and Savior. Born on September 2, 1951, in Hanover, PA, Sandy was a proud graduate of Seton High School in Baltimore, Maryland, Class of 1969, where she forged lifelong friendships.

She is survived by her devoted husband, David; her loving twin sister, Susan; her niece, Jenny; and her adored great-niece and great-nephews, Darien, Olivia, and Logan.

Sandy dedicated many years to her career as an executive secretary, culminating in her role as the secretary to the CEO of a major multinational corporation. Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sandy was known for her warm heart, deep friendships, and adventurous spirit. She embraced the joys of travel, calling herself the "Cruise Queen" after sailing on more than 40 cruises. Music was the soundtrack of her life—she sang with a cover band in the 1970s and 1980s and shared her voice with the folk group at St. Rose of Lima Church in Baltimore, Maryland.
