Susann Mauck died peacefully on February 1, 2026 in Frederick, Maryland. Susann was born on October 4, 1946 to the late Mary Bettye and Howard Newton Mauck.
Susann spent the majority of her adult life owning and operating her family's floral shop, Clark's Florist in Silver Spring, Maryland before relocating and transitioning to a new career in sales with the Wormald Companies as a sales associate as well as the Seamless Gutter Supply Co. both in Frederick. She briefly worked as a secretary for the Montgomery County School Board.
Susann was passionate about floral design and the emotional significance of the presence of flowers during the meaningful stages of life.
Friends and relatives are invited to visit on Wednesday, March 25 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. at Keeney & Basford Funeral Homes. P.A. 106 E. Church Street, Frederick, Maryland 21701. A graveside service will be held immediately following at Mount Olivet Cemetery, 515 S. Market Street, Frederick, MD. 21701.
